
Driving Directions to our Tour Locations
Driving to Olowalu
From West Maui (Kapalua, Ka'anapali & Lahaina):
Travel time approx: 20 minutes.
- Proceed South down Highway 30, watching the Mile Marker signs en route.
- Go just past Mile Marker 15.
- Pull off on the right side (ocean side) around Mile Marker 14.7
- Look for our guides with Maui Eco Tours shirts, our vehicles and blue kayaks!
- Park anywhere.
From South Maui (Kihei and Wailea):
Travel time approx: 35 minutes.
- Head North on Highway 31 to the junction with Highway 30, near Ma'alaea Harbor.
- Go left towards Lahaina at the stoplight intersection.
- Pay close attention to the Mile Marker signs.
- Pull off on the left side (ocean side) around Mile Marker 14.7
- Look for our guides with Maui Eco Tours shirts, our vehicles and blue kayaks!
- Park anywhere.
Driving to Mile Marker 11 ("SEACLIFFS" & "WHALES")
From West Maui (Kapalua, Ka'anapali & Lahaina):
Travel time approx: 25 minutes.
- Proceed down Highway 30 while paying close attention to the Mile Markers.
- You'll go about 20 minutes beyond Lahaina.
- Proceed beyond Mile Marker 11 and pay attention to the right side (oceanside) of the road.
- Meet us on the side of the road JUST before the tunnel (Maui's only tunnel).
- Pull off the road and park anywhere.
- Look for our guides with Maui Eco Tours shirts, our vehicles and blue kayaks!
From South Maui (Kihei and Wailea):
Travel time approx: 30 minutes.
- Head North on Highway 31 to the junction with Highway 30, near Ma'alaea Harbor.
- Go left towards Lahaina at the stoplight intersection.

- Meet us on the side of the road JUST after the tunnel (Maui's only tunnel) slightly before Mile Marker 11.
- Pull off the road and park on the left side (oceanside) of the road.

Driving to D.T. Fleming Beach Park
From South Maui (Kihei and Wailea):
Travel time approximately: 75 minutes.
- Drive North on Highway 31 to the intersection with Highway 30.
- Take a left onto Highway 30 and proceed North.
- Keep going past Lahaina and Ka'anapali up to Kapalua.
- Once in Kapalua, you'll come across "Office Road" which leads into the Ritz-Carlton hotel.
- Go BEYOND Office Road and take your 2nd left off the highway.
- You'll now be pulling into D.T. Fleming Beach Park.
- Look for our guides with Maui Eco Tours shirts, our vehicles and blue kayaks!
- Park off to the left in the back lot.
From West Maui (Kapalua, Ka'anapali & Lahaina):
Travel time approximately: 20 minutes.
- Proceed up Highway 30, about 15 minutes beyond Ka'anapali.
- Once in Kapalua, you'll come across "Office Road" which leads into the Ritz-Carlton hotel.
- Go BEYOND Office Road and take your 2nd left off the highway.
- You'll now be pulling into D.T. Fleming Beach Park.
- Look for our guides with Maui Eco Tours shirts, our vehicles and blue kayaks!
- Park off to the left in the back lot.
Driving to Makena Landing
From West Maui (Kapalua, Ka'anapali & Lahaina):
Travel time approx: 70 minutes.
- Proceed down Highway 30 to the interection with North Kihei Road (Highway 31).
- Proceed South to the end of Highway 31, which terminates at a stoplight in Wailea.
- Go left at the stoplight onto Wailea Alanui Road.
- Proceed 2.5 miles south and look for a blue sign that says "Makena Landing".
- Turn right at the blue sign that says Makena Landing.
- Proceed to the bottom of the hill, turn right and drive for about 1/2 a mile.
- Look for our guides with Maui Eco Tours shirts, our vehicles and blue kayaks!
- Park anywhere.
From South Maui (Kihei and Wailea):
Travel time approx: 15 minutes.
- Proceed south on either Highway 31 (inland) or South Kihei Road (oceanside).
- You'll run into the stoplight in Wailea that is in front of the "Shops at Wailea."
- Go South on Wailea Alanui Road.
- Proceed 2.5 miles and look for a blue sign that says "Makena Landing".
- Turn right at the blue sign that says Makena Landing.
- Proceed to the bottom of the hill, turn right and proceed for about 1/2 a mile.
