Kayak, snorkel and discover the wild sea turtles on this 3 hour, 2 snorkel stop introductory adventure at Olowalu in West Maui or Makena in South Maui.
At both locations you'll enjoy small 6 to 8 person groups (max of 10 guests per guide) while snorkeling in crystal clear waters that are almost 80 degrees, all set against the backdrop of the stunning West Maui mountains and Haleakala.

As long as your kids are aged 5 or above you can bring them along to participate in all the fun! By the same token however, don't make the mistake of thinking this is a just a kiddie trip.
The trip is primarily designed for adults as a first time, or simply more laid back style, kayak snorkel combination adventure. The whole family is able to come as we have kayaks that can hold 1, 2 or even 3 people if the 3rd person is a child seated between adults.
Snorkel with loads of wild marine life.
On the Discovery we will see tons of turtles, beautiful tropical fish in a stunning array of colors, perhaps some dolphins and in the Winter we're also joined by the Humpback Whales down from Alaska.
All of the underwater life is framed by beautiful, calm and warm indigo waters that surround the Hawaiian Islands, and are particularly lovely in the Olowalu and Makena regions where the Discovery tours takes place.

Our small staff of guides carries years of experience and they are the best in the business, bar none. They'll give you instruction on correct paddling and snorkeling techniques and be right in the water alongside you all day.

The stunning Kapalua.
Nothing is quite as spectacular as Kapalua in the Summertime here on Maui. We'll paddle from D.T. Fleming Beach Park and head North to enter world famous Honolua Bay.
The crisp sunrise cresting over the top of the West Maui mountain peaks serves as our backdrop all morning, as we discover beauty above and below the waterline.
Crystal clear waters, warm pineapple breezes, unexpected wild spinner dolphins and maybe even a brief tropical shower can all make themselves part of a day on Escapade with Maui Eco Tours.
Small groups, personal attention.
On average, Escapade features groups of 4-6 guests, but we guarantee your group will be 8 guests or less per guide. The tour departs at 7:00am and runs all the way until 11:00am.
Over the course of 4 hours we'll snorkel all of Honolua Bay and we'll also hit up one additional "secret snorkel spot" that you simply can not access without joining us on Escapade.
At the end of the tour we wrap up with a light and healthy island style lunch of grilled chicken, fresh fruit and juices, all enjoyed right along the sand. Also, vegetarian and vegan selections are available by request.

Seacliffs

A complete experience.
Kayak and snorkel the sensational central Maui coastline for over 3.5 hours on the intermediate Seacliffs adventure.
This is uber-private Maui snorkeling where we tuck in along the beautiful South facing seacliffs that tower over the coral gardens below.
Also we see the Humpback Whales up close during the Winter months on the Seacliffs kayaking tour!
Advanced and adults only.
Paddling distance can be over 2.5 miles and we snorkel with the varied tropical marine life 2 different times! No other tour combines privacy and access to marine life in the way our Seacliffs tour does.
Due to the longer nature of the tour, we do limit the Seacliffs to those aged 12 and over only.
If you have younger kids, please check out the Discovery tour which departs from Olowalu and Makena. We'll get going at 7:15am and continue all the way until around 11:00am.

We get up close, observe the whales and also enjoy a wonderful snorkeling location, all in a fun packed 4 hour kayak snorkel adventure.
Wintertime only!
Each Winter the majestic whales travel thousands of miles from the Alaskan coastline and bask in the warmth of the Hawaiian waters and we are lucky enough to have a front row seat!
The tour runs from December 26th to March 31st, every single year. Trips before and after the season dates can be requested.
Adults only on this advanced paddle.
Being a longer tour and featuring more paddling distance than most of our other offerings, we do limit the Whales tour to those aged 12 and over only.
If you have kids that are under age 12, please check out our Discovery tour, which departs just a few miles away in Olowalu or down South in Makena.
Our Whales tour checks in at 7:15am and usually wraps up after the included lunch around 11:00am.
Over the course of roughly 4 hours we'll travel all over Ma'alaea Bay looking for Whales to get up close with. Additionally, after checking out the humpbacks, we'll snorkel at the Coral Gardens of Maui.
